I left New Orleans yesterday, drove 9 hours to Chattanooga, Tennessee. I hit traffic heading out of the city about 45 minutes out, getting stuck for two hours, other than that it was pretty smooth sailing. It was interesting to hit the mountains when we passed the tip of Georgia which you need to pass to get to Tennessee. This is my first time here in Chattanooga, will post a pic when I get a chance. In the meantime that’s the traffic I was facing ugh!

So this was my big weekend, change was coming, and the date neared. little did I know I would be caught evacuating/moving at the same time! Hurrican Gustav looms in the gulf and New Orleans is going nuts, literally. I now plan to still go up to my new location, Washington DC, however…..I didnt expect to be leaving with the masses ugh!
